    Texas @ BYU

    Saturday night at 6pm on espn2.

    Not sure if we'll find out much about the 'horns this game. Not really sure how good or bad BYU is. They lost to a shitty Virginia team but it was during a monsoon, so who knows what factor that played.

    According to some BYU fans they have issues on the Oline and since there QB hurt his knee last year, he hasn't been the same running the ball. They lost a lot of starters on D but have an NFL ready LB in Van Noy(think that's his name).


    I'm wanting to see the Texas Oline with some changes to it. They seem to work better when they started shifting players around.

    Last week was pretty aggravating for almost the whole first half. Hopefully Applewhite has them coming out strong from now on.


    Didn't make a thread for last weeks game. I left work Thursday and headed to Dallas and wasn't on a computer 'til Tuesday morning. Plus I didn't figure most of you chumps had the LHN anyway

        How do return 19 starters and get worse? 411 yards allowed in the first half. I don't even know why I watch anymore.

          Mac Brown is a great manager but horrible coach. Had several friends that played for him and told him that he babies the players. State of Texas football is best with Texas is best with TU and A&M in the hunt. Too bad they can't both be good at the same time.

            It's embarrassing to watch this shit. I don't know how Manny is still there ... I don't think Mack should be, but I understand why he is. He doesn't have much more of a bank of goodwill.

                    They all should be fired. I'm ashamed to be a fan of that sorry ass team.

                        Because Mack Brown is still at the helm. He should have been gone last year. A QB with a bum knee ran all over them, and they made no adjustments at the half to try to fix it. I was hoping Dodds met him at the airport with his walking papers as he got off the plane. The whole coaching staff pretty much stinks, but a dead fish rots from the head down. I love 'em, but it took all I had to sit through that (I actually flipped back and forth to the Rangers and they stunk, too).

                            Their defense is awesome, top 10 in the country. Muschamp is a defense first coach. The offense is the reason they lost yesterday. I believe them and LSU were the only ones to contain 'everybody's college hero' Johnny Football last year.

                              yes, if you consider in his first ncaa start ever, they "contained" him to 172 passing yards, and 60 rushing yards, absolutely.
