Round four: Clinch. Alvarez just misses with a lead right. Next one lands. Floyd tags him with a counter right. Another good right from Mayweather and a stiff jab. Clinch. Alvarez jab lands, right doesn't. Floyd smacks the body with his right, takes a jab. Alvarez right hand finally lands. Alvarez looking to push Floyd back with big shots. Floyd now backing him up behind stiff jabs. Good right from Floyd, hard left straight from Canelo. Good round, still Mayweather's. 40-36.
Round five: Canelo going to the body. Floyd backed up into the ropes, but jacks Canelo's jaw with a corkscrew uppercut. Clinch. Alvarez misses an uppercut and eats another good right. Canelo pumping out his jab in response. Alvarez towing with the idea of shoulder rolling but gets tagged with some left hooks for his trouble. Hard right from Floyd. It is ALL Mayweather right now; 50-45.
Round six: Alvarez fires off three shots to the body before Mayweather circles off. Nice left from Canelo. Jab and left hook land. Floyd sneaks in a right hand. Clinch. Another clinch. Solid left hook from Alvarez after eating a right. Floyd hits him with an uppercut. Alvarez shoulder-checks Floyd in the clinch and gets a warning from the ref. They're jawing to each other. Alvarez lands a hard right and a a left hand. 1-2 from Floyd. Alvarez to the body. Alvarez jab and right downstairs. Mayweather lead right; good right hands from Floyd. I'll be generous. 59-55 Mayweather,
Round seven: Floyd forcing Alvarez into the corner. Clinch. Floyd sticks him with the jab. Floyd tags him with a counter after getting pushed into the ropes. Another great jab. Floyd slips some big shots. Good jab by Canelo. Floyd messing with him now, just putting jabs through his guard. Floyd slugs the body. Right hands from both. Beautiful uppercut from Floyd. Alvarez backed into the corner; Floyd abusing him against the ropes but takes a hard right hand for his trouble. Mayweather dances around Alvarez for the remainder of the round. 69-64 Mayweather.
Round eight: Mayweather backed into the ropes; Alvarez puts together a good combo culminating in a left hook to the body. Alvarez drills Floyd with a solid combination; Alvarez walking him down as best he can. Mayweather again lands a jab. Canelo to the body. Floyd with consecutive 1-2s and a left hook. Good right hand from Canelo and Alvarez manages to land a few to the body. Floyd against the ropes, Alvarez tees off on the body. Mayweather marking him up with counters and lands a hard left hand. Left uppercut snaps Alvarez's head back. Mayweather sneaks in a right hand. Good round for Alvarez, not good enough. 79-73 Mayweather.
Round nine: Everything Alvarez throws getting intercepted by arms and shoulders. Alvarez jabs the body, takes a right hand up top. Alvarez lands a short left hook counter. Alvarez digs the body and eats an uppercut for his trouble. Alvarez taps the body. Floyd with two more big right hands. Alvarez tries to flurry unsuccessfully. Another right from Mayweather. Floyd thumps the body. Alvarez lands a left to the breadbasket. Brave performance from Alvarez, but just not enough. 89-82 Mayweather.
Round ten: 3-2 from Alvarez deflected. Left straight lands. Floyd counters a right with a bigger one. Good right hand from Alvarez. Floyd to the body. Alvarez stuck on the ropes, trying to counter. Mayweather landing potshots. Big right hands from "Money," who lets Alvarez out. NICE right hand from Alvarez as he gets Mayweather against the ropes; Floyd takes it. Lead left from Alvarez. Round eleven: Alvarez sneaks a right into Mayweather's side. Another one. Good body shots from Alvarez. Solid right hand connects for Money. Another stiff jab and another. Left hooks. Right hand again. Mayweather continues to flick out the jab. Alvarez gets him to the ropes and briefly works the body. Alvarez lands a jab in the last ten seconds. 109-100 Mayweather.
Round twelve: They tie up as Alvarez tries to back Floyd into the ropes. Mayweather jabs his way into the clinch. Canelo to the body. Canelo thumps the body point-blank. Uppercut from Alvarez met by a left hook. Alvarez connects with a lead right hand. Jabs the body. Clinch. Fight over; 118-110 Mayweather.Don't worry about what you can't change.
