Reports are the mavs are pursuing bynum. Not sure how I feel about this one. I don't think it will be bad if they put the part about his knees in the contract, where he eats it if he gets injured.

How come Miami and LA can afford 3 large contracts (at least) and we can't afford 2? Also, college ball had a lot of scandolous shit going on for decades, MC needs to do something. Worst case he needs some new talent scouts. Lol

I hate free agency and the Mavs for those 2 things don't go together very well.
Like many already stated the money isn't everything for some players, they want to see a team with some upside. Dallas doesn't really have much to offer. Even though the Mavs are supposed to be one of the top teams this off season as far as cap space goes, but over the years they've done nothing to really build this team. They seem to always let go of good players at the wrong times IMO.
Bynum is a bad decision, he's going to be the next Greg Oden with these injuries. Plus, I believe he wants a max contract, yea fuck that!
Why, just why??...Devin Harris and Jermaine "always injured" O'Neal. What's next, Jet..JHo, and Caron Butler as well?
I swear Cuban just doesn't care anymore since he got his Finals Trophy. We should've kept Mayo, and actually I still wish they wouldn't have dismantled the team like they did right after their championship.

Which is why he should stop talking...

Miami signed those pussies before the new CBA. I can't speak for LA. I would think most of those contracts were prior to the new CBA. Perhaps Jeannie Buss doesn't mind playing the luxury tax, I don't know.

This. Cuban gambled. It hasn't paid off yet, and it may never pay off. Several teams *should* be looking to unload big contracts. This is what he's waiting for. That's why he signed everyone to 1 & 2 year deals. So he can dump them at any time, and the cost to the team will be minimal. Cuban isn't "stupid", and he doesn't need new talent scouts. He has explained his thought process on this many times. I didn't agree with dismantling the team the way he did. In fact, I was pissed. But I can see why he is doing what he has done.

I know this may come as a shock to you, but I'm sure Cuban knows a couple things about running an NBA franchise, that you don't. I read somewhere that he has been operating in the red since he bought the team. I'll dig around and see what I can find out.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.
