Actually, the story is a bit misleading. After further review, it seems the jury actually didn’t give him any prison time, they only asked for the max 10yr probation.

The judge felt Josh should go to jail for something so he assigned the max he could in this case which was 6 months so the remaining jury sentence is 9 1/2 years.

Honestly, I feel for the guy and both families, I didn’t want to see him in jail at all regardless.

Now that dumb fuck that killed 4 people the other month...yeah that fuckstick needs to have his butthole reamed by bubba for a year or two AT LEAST

I don’t understand how the kid can get off and Josh has the backing of the deceased family and STILL gets jail time. Cant claim money, Josh had some money and help to support his case…so what gives

While 2 totally different cases, I think that young whiteboy's case had a hand in him getting probation instead of prison right away. The community would have burned their homes down if he didn't get probation.

Cowboys still haven't released him. I'm sorry, but that is just a fundamental difference between a high class organization like the Patriots and the Cowboys. I grew up a Cowboys fan and still consider myself one, but it's getting harder and harder each year for sure.

Standards, morals, and values start at the top of each organization and it flows down. I think it's quite clear where Jones stands in comparison to Kraft in those categories.

So was it the jury that gave him 10 years probation and the Judge made the decision to give him 6 months in jail with 9.5 years probation (which is the max he can do at this point)?

If so, what is wrong with that jury. I'm sympathetic to the family that lost their son. I admire their graciousness. However that jury's job is to also consider that this guy is a repeat offender and likely to do this again. I wouldn't have thrown him in a hole for the max 20 years but probation is ridiculous.
