Former Lions receiver Titus Young arrested twice in one day
Former Detroit Lions receiver Titus Young has really bad luck.
How else can you account for one guy getting arrested two times during a 15-hour period?
The first incident happened at 12:01 a.m. Sunday, after he made an illegal left turn toward oncoming traffic right in front of a Moreno Valley police car, officials said. He was arrested on suspicion of DUI, booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center, then later cited and released.
Later in the day, at 2:22 p.m. to be precise, police said officers responded to a report that someone had jumped over the fence of a towing company yard.
Guess who?
Young was arrested again, this time on suspicion of burglary (presumably trying to retrieve his car), and booked at the same detention center.
Hence, the two different mug shots above (doesn't his expression in the second one just tell the whole story?).
A second-round draft pick for the Lions in 2011, Young had 81 catches for 990 yards and 10 touchdowns in two seasons. However, he was considered largely a disruption in 2012 for doing things like sucker-punching a teammate and lining up in the wrong spots during a game.
Two weeks before being released in February, he sent out some tweets that Coach Jim Schwartz publicly said weren't a good idea.
Perhaps Young doesn't have bad luck after all. Maybe, just maybe, he just makes really bad decisions.
