No surprises last night, Thunder and Bulls both gone.

Thunder sorta remind me of the Mavs of recent years prior to the Championship. With only one superstar and no real sidekick they just couldn't hang with a well balanced team. Even with Westbrook this would have been an interesting series, without him the Thunder were simply holding off the inevitable.

Looks like I might get my Heat vs Spurs final... 5 game series?

Well the Spurs still have to get past the Grizzlies and I think that will be a hard fought series. The Pacers should be able to pull off a win or two but the Heat should get past them without any major problems barring any injuries.

I don't think SA beats MEM in a series. Not with the way Gasol and Randolph are playing, let alone the emergence of Conley. But, the slowed down pace will give SA a better chance for sure.

Yeah, we have AFN (military TV), it's worse than watching old scrambled VHS porn but I can usually make out who has the ball. I just pretend it's constantly snowing on the court so it doesn't bother me too much.

The way GS made the Spurs struggle really has me worried, but if game 5 was any indication of them finally getting there shit together then I still have faith. We'll see how it goes in a few hours. As for playing Memphis, I think that might just be the best series of the playoffs.

Also, if Prince continues to hit the 15'ers reliably than Miami actually could be contested and make the series interesting. It will be interesting though, because of Prince' length how the matchups will look, because MIA doesn't have the size to consistently bang on the low-block and presumably Gasol and Randolph could really feast. If Gasol and Randolph get out of the double-teams quickly and Prince and Conley continue to make shots, I will have to revise my thinking that MIA easily cruises..

I've never been a fan of SA, but I do respect their execution and efficiency. I just don't see how they can match up with Memphis. Nobody left in the play-offs (aside from maybe Indiana, but weak guard play and their bigs are pretty inconsistent thus far too) has the size and pedigree of Memphis and the fact that Prince and Conley are playing so well and you have 2 NBA DPOY's on the same team, is recipe for success..

But, like we all know - matchups don't play games and despite how obvious things look to fans, thats why they play the games. Just look at GS, even though it's retarded to say they have the best shooting back court in the history of the NBA after barely 1 season, they are playing pretty impressively. Though, I think it has a lot more to do with how well Bogut has played since coming back. Having a dominate true 7'er will give your guards far more space to shoot..

I'm just hoping the NBA Gods are watching and allow Timmy to get one more championship. Plus I hate David Stern and I bet he would hate to see SA win another.

I wouldn't mind seeing him win, since he's a class act. But, he's already the best F in the history of the game. I would also rank him higher than Kobe during the same time period.

Spurs move on...I called it Spurs in 6!

Grizzels are next...I'm calling Spurs in 6 again.

                                Go Spurs!
