Go Spurs!
If I were to bet on it, I would take the Heat in 6. I don't feel great about it after this last series with the Pacers though. I think the Spurs will have the chance to impose their cadence on the series...but, I think the Heat have the ability and talent to prevail above that if they can stay focused and find that extra gear (specifically related to defense).
How long do you think it is going to go before the Spurs win?

The Heat will wear them down a lot faster than they did Indy... They can't keep up stamina wise imo. I think it will go 7 games but I gotta pull for the Heat, Ive been a fan of them for almost 10 years now, not changing anytime soon! Manu is going to have to score 20+ with Duncan and Parker playing decent every game to win the series... Oh and they gotta stop 3 of the 5 on Miami (James/Wade/Allen/Bosh/Chalmers) EVERY game... Thats not to mention if Andersen/Haslem/Miller/Battier have a great game to fill in for one of the 5 previously listed.
I think SA has a chance, it just wont be a gimmie. Gonna take a TON of shit to go right for them, and wrong for Miami at the same time...

I think rust will hurt S.A in game one! After that should be a good series...I'm sure as soon as S.A goes up in the series Wade will start claiming his ankle hurts!
Go Spurs!

First off, Tim Duncan is 100x the player that Hibbert is. Miami struggles against fundamentally sound teams, which is why they struggled with Indy. San Antonio is old as fuck, but they've got the best coach in the league, a solid core, and I think they will take the series. Fuck Miami, every single one of their bandwagon fans, and every last one of those crybabies on that team.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

The key difference between Pacers and Spurs and really the Spurs and anyone else is the Spurs' ability to execute. Top-to-bottom, I don't think there is a longer/more athletic NBA team than the Pacers, but their execution was not good enough to move on.
Miami has the best player on the planet and some solid role players that when they execute the way they need to, are better than any other team in the NBA. The problem is outside of Lebron, they are not all that consistent thus far in the playoffs.
It will be a good series (I hope).

love this:
The Fans
Heat fans. If you're dealing with a Heat fan from somewhere other than Florida, there's a good chance you've encountered the worst kind of front-runner on earth, as well as the target demographic for Axe body spray. If you're dealing with a Heat fan from Miami, there's a decent chance that person has been party to some form of financial fraud in recent years, and is also the target demographic for Axe body spray. Neither group watched Heat games three years ago, and they all think that (a) LeBron James is better than Michael Jordan, and (b) Drake's new album is so swag. In general: A LOT of Heat fans are Justin Bieber, but only one of them is actually Justin Bieber.
Spurs fans. To the Spurs fan, if you don't like the Spurs, or if you think the Spurs are boring, you simply don't understand basketball. You must not really appreciate THE SPORT if you can't appreciate this team. Even Lakers fans aren't that obnoxious. Likewise, Tim Duncan is the most underappreciated player of his generation, says the Spurs fan, ignoring that every basketball fan on earth would call him the greatest power forward of all time. Finally, the Spurs fan knows deep down that his team is the only team really playing The Right Way. Everyone else? Just a bunch of me-firsters out there freelancing like it's an All-Star Game. If only they could all play like the Spurs …www.hppmotorsports.com

Should be a damn good series in either case (and there have been some good ones this year) and either team has a chance at winning it but I'll be cheering for the Spurs as I hate the Heat even more than them
