Losing Westbrook will definitely have an impact there's no denying that. Durant will just have to step up his scoring to make up for what Westbrook won't be there to provide. The rest of the players are going to have to really step their games to make sure that they can fill in the other areas that Durant won't be able to. It's going to be a tough test but I think they're up to the challenge, we will see. They are still looking very good against the Rockets currently.
Edit: I may have spoke too soon... Rockets making a big comeback!Last edited by Pope; 04-27-2013, 09:36 PM.sigpic

Man I don't know about Howard going to Houston or Dallas. I'd bet money he stays in LA but who knows, he probably doesn't even know. It's going to be an interesting summer with rumors of where he might land.
As I was stating in the other thread, without a true sidekick for KD they sorta remind me of the Mavs with Dirk as the superstar and no "true" sidekick. I'll be reading the OKC newspapers at lunch to see what's going on. I doubt the fans will turn on the Thunder the way Dallas does with the Mavs after an early out, but I'm sure it will make for some interesting reading.
On a side note, has Dirk ever had a "true" sidekick? Someone who consistently backs him up with scoring? Last one I can think of was Josh Howard but he was streaky and unreliable.
