well, that was pretty boring. first boring race at spa that i can recall in recent memory. qualifying was great. the race coulda used some weather to mix it up.

vettel domination. unless he has a DNF or two the remainder of this year, might as well crown him champ.

kimi's streak is over and he seems to be going backwards.

not official, but rumor is riccardo get webbers spot.

Didn't like that Ferrari told Massa (sp) to move over. Bet he looses the ride next year unless he comes up with a huge amount of points or a win.

Kimi didn't get the Red Bull ride, guess he will have to deal with Lotus.
Maybe RB didn't want two roosters in the hen house.

I think the fact that massa complied will probably help in his bid for a seat next year. He helped him in qualifying by slowing down, and let him pass in the race...how many drivers will they fond that willing to sacrifice for Whiney ass Alonso?

And I wonder of Kimi demanded too much? RB seems very proud of their developmental program though.

Earlier speculation was that Alonzo might get Webber's seat. someone saw Alonso's agent at dinner with RBR staff and the rumors went nuts. A couple races ago when all the contract discussions started, it was mentioned that Alonzo might leave Ferrari due to the team not giving him the car he wants. something about "if I don't get this many points, you let me leave cause your car sucks"...Alonzo's usual I am better than everyone BS. Last year Alonzo was kissing Ferrari's butt. This year he has been quiet and mildly disappointed. Kimi at Ferrari is a no brainer given that his chief engineer at Lotus just left and joined Ferrari a couple races ago. figure same knowledge, same skill, same program as lotus with the financial backing of Ferrari. RBR may be in trouble next year as Ferrari runs car A and car B, not #1 and #2. Very similar to Mercedes team as Hamilton and Rosberg hate each other. I personally can't stand Alonzo and would love to see hulkenberg join kimi at Ferrari, but My money is on Hulkenburg going to Lotus in Kimi's seat.

yea i think there was tension with alonso/ferrari this year. luca di montezemelo scolded alonso and he cried about it. i would say odds favor alonso still being a ferrari driver next year. in the end, the car truly hasn't been up to snuff to win and thats on ferrari (just the same as it is on mclaren) i'm sure it hurts the supercar maker's ego to get beaten by a can of energy drink for past 3 years... (make that 4)

yea, looks like rumor is hulkenberg to fill the vacant seat @ lotus.

that means sauber will have a vacant seat and so will STR will have a vacant seat. wonder if any of them will pick up massa.

surprised to hear you say hamilton and rossberg hate each other. i know they used to kart together and they were "friends" but im sure no one really is friendly on either side of the garage. it was just recently where button was in an interview and was talking about how they got along but that was simply because they rarely spoke.
