I admit, I have been pretty fairweather this season towards the Mavs. I can't get myself to watch the games as much as I used to. It rubs me the wrong way that this whole season is almost self inflicted. I try to catch the games but it seems lackluster

Since the Mavs are teh sux right now and doesn't look like they are going to make the playoffs, I too can't wait for opening day and I too miss the shit out of some football. I usually don;t get into Hockey, Basketball until after the playoffs start.

It does make you wonder why there isn't a professional football league that is successful playing this time of year. There is plenty of domes and semi fair weather to have pro football around all year.
