Cuban better take note of the Stars. If he dumps one more season on purpose, he is going to lose a ton of fans.

      A. That Stars example is a bullshit excuse to not be a fan anymore.

      B. Cuban claims he has a strategy and that it's all going to play out this offseason. He's not dumping because he's milking the team, he dumped because he thinks it's the prudent play. Time will tell, but jumping ship because the owner made an aggressive play to be good for the future is also bullshit.

Did you not read what I said? If he dumps ANOTHER season, then he is going to start seeing attendance drop. I don't agree with giving up on a team like that, but that is how this town rolls.

I think the Stars are the best bang for the buck. Been to a few fights... err games.
Last Mavs game I went to was before the hanger was even thought about. Late 80s.

Last Cows game Jason Garrett played QB vs GB

Last Ranger game was the best. Clinch vs Seattle 2011. Made it better it was my B-day.
          Some cars and a bike...

Some say... they have been raced, some a lot

Yep. And so is every other city that hosts more than one professional sports team.

Bullshit, still a football town. See above about bandwagoners.

That's what you would do too, if your hatchet wounds had the power.

Yeah.. Cuban's strategy is to not pay luxury tax. And it's working brilliantly. As for the future... I'll believe it when I see it. His entire "strategy" was based entirely on huge hypotheticals that in reality, are unlikely. Time will tell, I suppose. I'm a huge fan of Cuban as an Owner, but he undoubtedly crippled his team, and his coach by the lack of action. Even Dirk questions his motives.

No argument with any of that here, but my point is that making that comparison to what Tom Hicks does/did with his teams is completely off-base. One is the result of (not yet determined) failed strategy and the other is a quite deliberate milking.

I saw a little blurb about his new weight loss regimen now that it's time for him to get "fit for baseball". Really? He wasn't concerned about his longevity when he was here? My opinion hasn't changed. Good riddance.

He probably has been talking to ARod's doctor in Florida. I hear he has a great program.

Dallas to me is a football town, I think if you ask people from other cities whats the first sports team that comes to mind thats in DFW will probably be the Cowboys. Heck LA isnt even a baseball town, its more basketball and hopes for a NFL franchise than the Dodgers or Angels.

The fans here spoiled his coke-snorting ass rotten, and gave him more chances than he deserved. He will be howling at the moon in LA. Those big parties will be calling his name every night of the week. He won't have Kinsler to talk him down either.

Went there last year. They actually won the game. Other than the Rangers, I am a...... ugh, Astros fan.
