        • Why do they always choose someone that has absolutely nothing to do with football for the half time show. Atleast let it be someone good to get you pumped up and go play football not take a damn nap or shove a screwdriver in your ears.

              • I don't have a problem with either team, head coach, or QB. I was pretty neutral and I enjoyed just watching it. I will say SF got fucked by the refs on a few plays, but then again they had some dropped passes and bad throws that could have won it all.

They also had an extra hour to strategize a new game plan at their leisure and regroup in the middle of the game after getting pounded for 2+ quarters.

                  • I didn't know you could shove a Ref and get away with it, WTF...immediate ejection. Nice no call on the hold on Crabtree. The ref's blew calls on both sides frequently.

                    • Great game. Ravens played like champions, however 49ers got screwed on 4th down at the end. Ravens fans say good no call, but I've watched it 15 times and crabtree was bear hugged by the db. Refs were scared to throw the flag. Good game overall though.

The only defense I have for the DB is, Crabtree initiated the contact.

The db got in his way and grabbed his jersey with both hands. He was basically double teamed. There was no where to go. Was the ball catchable? Don't know. It doesn't matter. Holding should have been called. It wasn't. Life goes on. I still think San Fran will b there again in next few years.

                          • Look at the way they called all the other plays and it was the same all game. Why would they change the way they call it on the last play. They let the players play not to mention the ball was uncatchable.

The refs were scared to throw a flag. I'm a cowboys fan, so I really didn't care who won the game. The db never looked for the ball and latched on to crabtree who tried to get to the ball. Uncatchable doesn't matter. The call should have been holding. It wasn't. Damn good game though!

The ball was uncatchable because he was held. It's entirely possible, even likely, that another step or two and a slight jump would have brought the ball down in the end zone. I didn't watch the game aside from the opening and closing minutes, so I cannot comment either way, but the Ravens a got away with two blatant penalties on that final set of downs.
