Went to the game last night and IMO, Dallas played pretty crappy. There were too many little things they kept making errors on, like their passing, there were so many incomplete passes it's not even funny.

I was also thinking the same thing watching it

Hard to win when you give up 40 shots and only take 21.

IMO Dallas hasn't really ever had a ton of big shooters, they're more of a finesse team. Kari was doing pretty damn good given the shots that were being taken on him. The first two that were let by, any goalie could have missed, and the third was just delayed reaction.

It's really boring to watch that's for sure. Not even an Ott out there to get some excitement. I don't know what happened to Brendan Morrow - I know he's still an above average player - but not spunk that he used to have. We don't SEEM to have good team cohesion (sp?) and without any super stars - it's a bad team.

It is still early though on a fast season. Anything is possible - but they better start pulling out some wins.

Morrow has been flat as hell, he might as well not be out there.

I'm willing to give it a little more time before I throw in the towel on this season. Lots of new faces and these first few games haven't exactly been wrought with lineup stability. Unfortunately, there isn't much time to develop that cohesion before the window has passed.

The pieces are probably there, I think, it's just a matter of when (if) it clicks and when that happens.
