Like I said, not how accurate this is because I think he heard it on the radio or something, but if it is...that's fucked up.
100% true. They don't try to hide it either. It's called the "Rooney Rule".

How are we supposed to be equal when certain people get special treatment.

Actually, it's why they interviewed Ray Sherman. Todd Bowles was a legit candidate, just as he was last time he interviewed (before they hired Wade).

Speaking of, Ray Sherman is gone. So now they need a receivers coach, D Coord, O Coord, etc.

I have a feeling Bowles was interviewing for the D coordinator. Seems logical since RJ has worked with him in the past.

I think the cowboys could have a great team, if they'd accidentally hire a head coach with enough nuts to tell Jerry to mind his own business, and show up on game day. Jerry needs to quit running the team. The Bengals are in the same boat with SOP.
ZOMBIE REAGAN FOR PRESIDENT 2016!!! heh

I wonder if the haters will still feel the way they do if he returns the Cowboys to the playoffs?

He was interviewed as HC. They have to ask permission to interview him again as DC, per league rules. I don't disagree that its what JJ and RJ had in mind, but there are more formalities in mind.

He's got a long way to go before he gets a vote of confidence from me. You have to remember though, I've wanted him gone since 2007. One good season after three years of WTF, isn't going to satisfy me.

I respect that he has found a way to make this team respond. However, his play calling has changed overnight. EVERYTHING has changed. With no logical explanation. Which makes me suspicious, and makes me lose any shred of respect I have for him.

And I've told you the reason. He wanted Phillips gone, so in true red haired fashion devised an evil plot to run 3 plays, over and over until Jones reacted. He gets the job and finds his playbook. They win 10 at least next year.

I think they have a lot more to address to hit 10 wins (safety, OL, etc). That's not even mentioning some of the Vets they have, that likely won't be re-signed.

I truly believe RJ was doing his best to stifle the offense, in an effort to get Wade gone. You don't go from dead last in scoring, to top 5 in scoring overnight with just a HC change. You just don't.

That said, I despise him for it.

I'm back!!!!! I'll try and be good this time but I can't promise on those drunk nights. LOL. But I do agree with you that something is up on how cowboys played the first half to the second half. I just wonder if Jerry had anything to do with it? But I don't see why the cowboys can't win 10 games next year if they are healthy. They pretty much have the most talent on offense in the whole NFL besides the O-line that needs A LOT of help.

I agree. That was a sneaky way to earn the HC position.

I feel the same, the only thing I think could have happened is in the defensive play calling, Wade would not change the defensinve scheme and he probably did the same on the offensive side of the ball, he is still the HC and the game plan is already set, as an OC he can only do what the HC is asking since he is not the HNIC so therefore stuck with the game plan and thereby dooming our season.
And you know as well as I do, when the head man gets fired right before xmas, everyone starts working a little harder. That and RHJ is the type of coach that pats guys on the ass and is singing kumbaya in the locker room, that goes a long way with the natives. He used to be a player so he knows first hand how to motivate his players.

My grassy knoll theory I have is, the NFL didn't want the Cowboys in the SB, the NFL/city will not generate the same amount of money with the hometown team not having to fill up the hotels and generate monies. Think about it, Cowboys fans are filling up new staduim with no problem, the Metroplex as a whole would not generate nearly the amount of money that a two different NFL teams would. You need to look no futher than the referee' calling all those bullshit flags on us, directly changing the outcome of the games. Look how the penalties dropped once Wade left and then magically re-appeared during the Eagle & Saints games when if we would have won out would have gave us a shot at the playoffs.

You're drinking too much cowboy kool-aid on the second part to even think of that.
