That shit is getting old. The man had his day in court 13 years ago and was found not guilty. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time in a club in Atlanta. A fight broke out and people started shooting so he went out to his limo and they drove off.

OJ had his day in court, too. He must have been innocent as well.

Actually, he agreed to testify against his cohorts in a plea bargain deal. Reliable eye-witnesses saw him pull a knife and use it. They were not allowed to testify because of the deal he cut. Pardon the pun ;-)

Then why hasn't there been someone charged with the crime if Ray testified against them.

Can't tell you that. If he didn't do something, then why would he agree to a plea bargain? Why did he dispose of the suit he was wearing after the stabbing? Why didn't he cooperate with the police? The guy didn't just stab himself, even though his buddies were found "not guilty". Maybe the "guilty" guy was the one that testified against them in a plea bargain? Funny how that works out.

If you were at the scene of a murder and your on trial for it even though you didn't do it. They say they have a witness and evidence but offered you a plea deal where you would spend no jail time or take a chance on a jury not believing you and spend 10-20 years in prison. I haven't done anything and hell I'll take that deal.

No attorney worth their weight would advise you to take a plea deal, unless there was overwhelming evidence. There is a part of the trial process, called discovery, where all evidence is made available, and the judge rule on what is allowed and isn't. Attorneys generally have access to evidence before that, however.

As a DA, you can't just make up false evidence that doesn't exist.

Dude, I don't know. I'm telling you the facts. The DA was pissed that he got the deal, because he had eye-witnesses. Great attorney's can work wonders. His did. The list is long of assholes and degenerates that become pro athlete's. He's just another athlete. A great one, but nonetheless...

Because you're Ray Lewis. Really simple. 4-time Pro Bowl selection, Superbowl MVP, Baltimore record-setting Ray Lewis. Money talks, facts and justice walk.

Not in the year 2000. He hadn't won those yet IIRC.

In 2000, Lewis led a defense which set a 16-game single-season record for fewest points allowed (165) and fewest rushing yards allowed (970). The team recorded four shutouts, one shy of the single-season record. The unit finished first league-wide in six key defensive categories. Lewis won Super Bowl XXXV MVP honors, Defensive Player of the Year honors, earned a unanimous All-Pro selection, and was once again named to start in the Pro Bowl.
