So if that makes me a hater, along with them not being the team I root for, then I guess so be it.
If you hate them so much why watch them? You sound like my cousin Tom (Navy guy too and Pitt fan) "Oh I hate them", why watch them or give a fuck about them? I hate the fucking Eagles, Gmen and Wash, I don't watch any of their games and don't go out of my way to give a fuck about them.
And don't give me that bullshit excuse of "its the only game on TV", change the channel, homeslice.
Get DirecTV and watch YOUR team and stop giving a fuck about one that you hate.

You sound like you're just dying for me to say that I hate them, but I don't ever recall saying I hated the Cowboys in the past. Seems like you're just wanting people to hate them so you can go on a drama trip about how people love to hate your team. That's great that you have haters for your team, but guess what, there are haters for every team. The Cowboys aren't my team, but that doesn't mean that I hate 'em. The Cowboys are a part of football, so I'll watch them whenever I feel like watching them. So in closing, I guess what you're trying to say is we should do away with Sports forum since no one should be talking about a team unless that team is the one that they root for or are a fan of. lol. Life really ain't that serious, man, it's just football.

Bubble screens to the HB and quick slants to Witten have been run, in, to, the, ground.
I don't disagree, however, I don't think Romo has the ability/stones to do it. I know you've seen him look at Garrett and shake his head in disgust just as many times as I have. Garrett wants things done his way. If you aren't going to do them his way, you won't play. So what is he supposed to do? I do think Romo is smarter than Garrett is, but he isn't the good Manning. And I think that will eventually come to a head. But I think he won't challenge him, because of the controversy. This town already loves to hate Romo. Just think of what they'd say the first time he changed the play at the line, and it doesn't work.

Without a proven starter to compete for that position I honestly think Romo has the upper hand in the play changing aspect. Orton is not an every game starting quarterback or he'd be playing first string on another team. Orton had his chance with a couple of teams and he's just not the caliber that Romo is capable of. That said, I don't think Jerry Jones would let Romo sit on the bench in favor of Orton over some play changes at the line, but I certainly could be wrong.

Sell the team and move to a retirement home like most seniors do

Get an OC. if you keep Garret around limit as many responsibilities as possible. get as many pieces of the puzzle you can get on the o line. as far as the QB position goes I don't see any prospects next year, so fix what you can. that way when a good draft QB candidate comes along they will have some kind of protection.

I still feel like the lack of training camp this year was a huge problem for a lot of teams, and because of having to start from that kind of a deficit, a lot of teams just never got it together. A bad year this year would not be grounds enough for me to make major changes on almost any team. I'd prefer to build on what I had, and see what next season brings. The big time tinkerers never put great teams together consistently.

Then Jerry would be doing exactly what so many of you hate him for, meddling with the team. He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Both Romo and Jones. All because everyone loves to hate them.

Yale - what the fuck are you talking about? Lack of training camp? You mean last season?

That's part of being the general manager for the team. You know as well as I do that he's going to do whatever it is that he wants.

                      Yes.

EDIT: Never mind. I apparently forgot what year it is.

well i can admit Romo played like crap against the Redskins, but you have to remember Romo has been running for his life for a long time. Again... Romo is not the problem

Remember the playoff game against Minnesota a few years ago? Romo had no chance of getting the ball to anyone. Every pass was a 4 yard check down to Witten. You would think Jerry would solve the offensive line right?

Jerry Jones has been so cheap on the offensive line that if put both of our starting guards on the left side side and a college guard on the other. The college guard would probably win his battle

                            Cowboys need:
2 New Guards ( dont be cheap and try to sign the worst rated guards in the league * Cough Cough.. last offseason*)

Safety - Sensabaugh is just another guy who whiffs at tackles and cant cover to save his life.

D-Line help - Ratliff will be gone, Spears is not a 3-4 end. Coleman is done.

OLB - Depending on what happens to Spencer, hate him if you want but he's been solid.

Dan Patrick & Mike Florio reports
Jerry met with Gruden about 3 weeks ago...
I wouldnt mind Chucky.... wanted Cowher for years, but JJ wont give up the power.

Lip Service. Nobody is on notice. And if he didn't see this season coming, he's a fucking moron.

Sure, they could not have predicted losing 7 starters on Defense for half the season or more. But we knew before preseason started that the O Line was a huge issue, play calling was an issue, and Garrett manages the clock like a window licker.
