I'm really not much of a Cowboys fan either but I agree. I'd swap Garrett for Reid, trade Romo, and get Alex Smith from San Fran. Not saying that would necessarily be an upgrade at QB but I think we could get more for Romo than we'd have to give up for Smith.

I wouldn't. Smith may not give up many INT's, but he doesn't really go down the field, which is why SF benched him in the first place. SF always relied heavily on the offensive line and the run game, something that Dallas doesn't have. What dallas needs more than anything is an O-line that consists of something more than 5 crash test dummies and Tyron Smith.
