Murray is back in the lineup of you weren't sure. They seem to be a completely different offense with him in the backfield. Not a Cowboys fan but the loss of Dez Bryant isn't as big of an impact as you're insinuating, IMO.

Makes the defense respect the run. The defensive line and linebackers can't just key in on stopping the pass. Now they have to worry about Murray making plays. Gives the qb a split second more that makes the difference between a good play and a bad one.

Just what I was saying to my wife this afternoon in the car. After lopping his finger off Lott led the league in interceptions the next season. Hell, Staubach played the last half of the 76 season with a broken pinkie on his throwing hand. Time to man up.

I've wanted Mendenhall gone for the past two years. He's an injury prone (every single year he's been in the league, he's been injured), fumble machine that shouldn't be playing at the NFL level.
