A&M played Florida who was #24 now #4, South Carolina who wasn't ranked but now ranked #12, La Tech who was #23 now unranked, LSU who was #6 now #7, Miss St. who was #15 now unranked, Alabama was #1 now #2.

That's 5 ranked teams at the time they played for Notre Dame, and 6 ranked teams for A&M.

I like Manziel to win at this point, I really hoped he'd be counted out until next year, but Johnny Fucking Football is outstanding. Hell they even let him try to kick an extra point last week because Bertolet sucks so much. If he had made it, they'd just need to let him return kicks, next

You make a good point, except isn't Baylor 5-5? Usually the Heisman candidates come from pretty successful programs.

My thoughts are Manziel should win the Heisman if he stays the course (of course I am an Aggie) but the Freshmen title must be over looked by the voters. I am not sure this will happen.

Te'o is in there as well but he would be the first truly defensive only player to win it.

Charles Woodson was listed as cornerback/punt returner on the Heisman list.

So be it Manziel or Te'o the voters will set a new precedent either way.
