  • NSCS: Keselowski or Johnson

I don't think we have as many Nascar fans as we used to, but nonetheless, after 9 weeks of racing in the Chase it all comes down to Homestead. After Johnson lost his brakes and hit the wall, he finished 32nd last week and is now 20 points behind Keselowski. When the Chase began, many were touting that Johnson was easily on his way to his 6th title, but nothing is guaranteed until the checked flag flies on Sunday, especially now being in a 20 point hole coming into the final race. Couple of stats to think about, Keselowski has 9 starts at Homestead and only 1 top 10 finish. His average finish at that track is 23rd. Johnson has 38 starts, 1 win, 9 top 10 finishes at Homestead. His average finish at that track is 24th.

I think Keselowski is going to pull it off and complete the Chase upset.

All Brad has to do is finish in the top 20, I think he can do it.

The senario is if Keselowski finishes 15th or better he wins the title. If he leads 1 lap then its 16th or better, and if he leads the most laps then its 17th or better.

Everyone thought Edwards was going to have it wrapped up last year and then Stewart wound up leading the most laps at Homestead and won the race, thus creating the tie and winning the Championship by having the most wins in the season. It's easy to say all he has to do is finish top 15, but the fact is that he has not had any success at this track so it's not like it's a gimme race. It should be a fun race either way.

The #2 redneck will drive around in a circle more faster than the #48 redneck.

Gordon is co-owner in the 48, he'll take out the 2.
