Why? lol I've said in other threads that Texas isn't good this year. How they beat Tech like they did is beyond me. Really they were a bad snap away from being 9-1 right now and that is unreal. But yes I will admit the aggies are PROBABLY better then Texas but I don't think they are the second best team in the SEC like the record shows them to be. And I don't think they are as good as everyone says they are.

I won't lie, i thought aggy would get killed. But i also thought it would be the other guy playing QB for y'all and NOBODY knew that Manziel would be this good right out of the gate. The aggy secondary still isn't good but the front 7 is and that's why y'all are doing a good job on defense.

I'm not an SEC lover but an Aggie lover. I could care less what conference we are in as long as we are kicking ass. A&M is about so much more than a football game on Saturday but the wins (especially to beat the reigning national champs at their place) make it a little sweeter. Win or Lose or whatever the hell conference we ever enter I'll still wear this Aggie Ring with pride.

The thing most people don't think about is "most" Aggie fans are former students or are somehow tied to the school (my wife for example) where a lot of other teams have fans due to their mascot, their availability of tshirts at walmart, or some other fashion. To me, the passion of being an Aggie is well beyond that

Well there have been 14 National Championship games played since the inception of the BCS system. The SEC has won 8 of those National Titles, the Big 12 played in the Big game in both 08-09 and 09-10, both OU and UT lost to SEC teams Florida and Bama. Also an SEC has won the BCS Championship game everytime the SEC sent a team to the Big Show. The only time an SEC team lost was last year that was LSU and they lost to Bama an SEC team. The Big 12 is 2-5 in the BCS Championship game since it's inception. Also the SEC has beaten the Big 10, Big 12, PAC 10, ACC and the SEC (themselves) in championship games. How are they overrated?

Fact SEC: 8-0 or 8-1 when an SEC team or 2 appear in the BCS Championship

Fact Big 12: 2-5 when a Big 12 team appears in the BCS Championship

SEC top to bottom is overrated, plain and simple. Just look at Miss. St. this year, played a bunch of cupcake teams and just because they're in the sec they got up to #11. Then they started playing good teams and get dropped out of the top 25. Like i said, the sec is just like every other conference, top heavy with a bunch of mediocre teams after that.
