    Ding ding ding.

It's easy to be ranked high when the 5 top teams in the conference play the bottom feeders in the conf and only have 1 or 2 tough games during the course of the season.

UT's defense will have to make an appearance to even keep it close. I haven't seen a lot of K-State, but I don't need to.

Better talk to daddy deloss about that. There are rumors floating around that he has contacted Cotton Bowl officials and told them they would decline an invitation if A&M was the other team. Otherwise, I'm there.

We have played toe to toe with both LSU and Florida in our 2 losses, beat Bama, they are not a joke. I think we are better than UT this year based off our game play. I think UT is good team, I am thinking they will knock K-State off when they meet. But I hold Texas A&M is now a real tier 1 contender.

    Let's see

    SEC #4 Bama #5 Georgia, #6 Florida, #7 LSU, #8 Texas A&M, #9 S.C.

    Big 12: #1 K State #12 OU, #15 UT, #23 T-Tech, #24 OSU

I don't see where as the SEC and Big 12 are any different statistically. I don't see it is every other conference,
I think it is every conference.

SEC= 6 top 10 teams out of 14, 43% of the Conference is in the top 10

    Big 12= 5 top 25 teams out of 10, 1% of the conference top 10, 40% top 25

That is not a significant difference, WVU is to the Big 12 what Miss St. is to the SEC. Started over rated now not rated, LoL. Oh yes and add TCU to that as well, they started off around top 25 moved to #15 playing weaker opponents then dropped right out of the top25.

Pro Trash, stop posting facts and stats in here that prove the SEC is the top conference in college football. You'll make all the SEC haters mad.

I expected the Aggies to get slaughtered this year in the SEC and I'm glad I'm wrong. My wife and I both graduated from A&M, so it's nice to see them having some success.

    Whoop!

But yes I will admit the aggies are PROBABLY better then Texas but I don't think they are the second best team in the SEC like the record shows them to be. And I don't think they are as good as everyone says they are.
Their record doesn't have them 2nd in the sec. BCS has them as fifth best SEC team and by record it's similar.

To be honest, I don't follow any of them very closely. Only watching the Ags this year since they're doing good. I'll stand by the statement though, just something about playing UT that brings out the worst in them.
