      RIP, Darrell. My grandfather almost flew him to Norman in 1963 to talk about replacing Bud Wilkinson. He called back and said he was staying in Austin.

        RIP Coach. His last few years have been rough. He had a bunch of quotes, but one of my favorite by Coach Royal is,"If worms carried guns, bird's wouldn't eat 'em."
