#5 was about all they could handle. Tight, well-matched game. The difference being a short FG missed by Wisconsin...

my brother is in vegas and said all the sportsbooks (5 he went to) all had 3 on this game.

There is a big difference between professional betting outfits and keyboard warriors on internet forums.

Did you believe they would get this far or win this game? If not, then you were clearly mistaken about the legitimacy of this Horned Frog team. So what makes you think you're credible in any way now about what they could and could not handle?

You won't catch a whole lot of intelligent Frog fans claiming they WOULD be national champs this year if given the chance, you'll just hear many say that they COULD, and in a perfect system, SHOULD get the chance.

Fact is, we'll never know. Not you, not me, not anyone. It's just silly to make absolute statements about something hypothetical, especially if you have been wrong thus far.

Oh, and GO FROGS!!! Congrats to the players, the coaches, the school, and to all the fans, especially the ones were cheering them on long before they were doing so well.

Ah! The inferiority complex is glowing! I'll tell you what I DO know. TCU squeaked by a team that lost to Michigan St., who just got beat by 42 points to #15 'Bama. There's a good chance that TCU will fade back into obscurity once this senior class is gone.

I did enjoy watching every play of the game, though.

thats what people said about Boise State a few years ago. They might slip a little but Im betting they have gotten some attention from high school players after this win. Now they are going to the Big East which is a BCS Conference. I just want to hear what the Ohio State AD has to say about TCU beating the best team in the Big Ten.

                      That makes no sense.

You know how ridiculous that sounds, right?

Glad to hear you say that. Now, if you'd said the opposite, I might be worried.

Jesus Christ, no wonder I never come into this forum, everyone takes shit way too seriously. If you're bitter your team didn't win, just say so and get the fuck over it, lol.

I've been all over TCU this year thanks to the fiesta fiasco last year, however TCU matches up better with Auburn and Oregon than they do Wisconsin IMO. Wisc's O line is the definition of Cornfed motherfuckers and they still held Wisc to notta when it counted. TCU's athleticism and size would match up just fine vs another athletic team like Oregon or Auburn.

You can throw out all the what if's you want, but at the end of the day TCU won the Rose Bowl. They legitimized their season against the nay-sayers, and went out and beat a good Wisconsin team on the national stage. Even though the NC wasn't in the cards this year, the Rose Bowl is a hell of an honor, and they held up their end of the deal. Next year will be a "rebuilding year", but Patterson has proven over the past decade that he can build winning teams, and I have no doubt they will be ready for the East in 2012.

Great win for the Frogs, and what a start to 2011!
