Looks like Cruz is set to accept his suspension from MLB....
Texas Rangers outfielder Nelson Cruz is expected to accept a 50-game suspension -- rather than appeal the penalty -- resulting from his alleged involvement in the Biogenesis case, according to a CBS report.
MLB has been pressuring players to accept suspensions. With 50 games remaining, the Rangers would be without their leader in home runs and RBIs for the remainder of the regular season if Cruz accepts a suspension. He would be eligible to return for the playoffs.
If Cruz appeals, he could remain in the lineup but run the risk of having the suspension upheld and carry over into next season. That would lessen his appeal as a free agent.
Cruz said he is "at peace" with what awaits. He has discussed the situation with his representatives and his family. He has prayed over it. Cruz insisted he has not made a decision.
Monday, "it's going to happen, whatever it's going to be," Cruz said. "I haven't decided what it's going to be."
Assistant general manager Thad Levine said the club has not been involved in the process and does not know what to expect. The club has set contingency plans, but none involve bringing in a power bat.
The immediate replacement for Cruz would come from the minor league system. Outfielder Engel Beltre is a top candidate, but he is a left-handed hitter. Outfielder Joey Butler hits from the right side like Cruz but has never played in the majors. There is no push to promote veteran Manny Ramirez, trying to revive his career at age 41.
"At this stage of the season, it's a bat that will be extremely difficult to replace," Levine said.
Manager Ron Washington has discussed the issue with Cruz once, when the original reports surfaced. Washington has not lobbied Cruz to appeal, which would benefit the Rangers.
"We're going to have to play," Washington said. "I'll deal with the situation when that situation happens."

There are probably dozens of these clinics doing the same thing throughout the country but this one treated AROD. If his name wasn't on the list it probably would have been swept under the rug.

Edit: I see something was already posted......
Well its official Cruz has been suspended!

In a separate statement, Cruz said his punishment was a result of "an error in judgment," saying he had been seriously ill in early 2012 with a gastrointestinal infection called helicobacter pylori that went undiagnosed for more than a month.
"By the time I was properly diagnosed and treated, I had lost 40 pounds," Cruz said in the news release. "Just weeks before I was to report to spring training in 2012, I was unsure whether I would be physically able to play. Faced with this situation, I made an error in judgment that I deeply regret, and I accept full responsibility for that error. I should have handled the situation differently, and my illness was no excuse. I am thankful for the unwavering support of my family, friends, and teammates during this difficult time. I look forward to regaining the trust and respect of the Rangers organization, my teammates, and the great Rangers' fans, and I am grateful for the opportunity to rejoin the team for the playoffs."
Rangers general manager Jon Daniels said the team was "open minded" to Cruz joining the playoff roster if they qualify for the postseason.
