Good lord, these commentators are too busy blowing Molina to give Teppesch credit for making a good pitch. He took strike 2 all the way because he's such a good hitter he can still drive an 0-2 sinker down and in into right field; but when he grounds that 3-2 sinker down and in to SS for an easy double play, well, it just got a little too far inside on him.

You're not kidding. Molina is one smug looking motherfucker anyway, but for this circle-jerking trio to heap this much unnecessary praise on him makes him that much more unlikeable.

pretty rad. all I remember about him is 3rd base and something about 2 grand slams in the same game/inning. I had to look it up, and it was 2 grand slams in the same inning - off Chan Ho Park, who the Rangers ended up getting a few years later, and I remember him from the baseball fights video and because he was pitching so bad one time that Tom Grieve, thinking they'd already cut to commercial, said "he's just pitching batting practice," and wasn't heard from for another 2 or 3 innings.

It was at that point that I went from an upright to a prone position on the couch. Figured if I had to listen to that bullshit all night, I might as well only do it for 5 minutes until I fell asleep.

Glad to see that they won when I woke up though.
