Another great day to be at the ballpark, and another Rangers win.
This was the kind of game a good team wins, too. On the nights when things aren't going your way, a good team figures out how to make it work. Ogando didn't have his best stuff but worked through it to salvage something, Ortiz put in work, Kirkman and Lowe blew goat, and Nathan struggled but got the job done. The offense was absolutely tagging the ball all night, too, just right at fielders most of the time; this easily could have been a 10 run night for the Rangers.
Also, Eric Nadel signed my hat tonight; I was giddy as a school girl on the whole walk back to the parking lot afterwards.

ANAHEIM -- Jered Weaver is expected to be lost to the Angels for 4-6 weeks because of a broken left elbow.
Weaver landed awkwardly on the mound at Rangers Ballpark on Sunday night trying to avoid a line drive off the bat of Texas' Mitch Moreland leading off the sixth inning. Weaver was in immediate pain as the ball sailed over his head into center field and he left the game immediately. An X-ray taken after the game showed no structural damage, but the Angels got bad news on the off day on Monday. They open a three-game series at Angel Stadium on Tuesday night against the Athletics.
"I slipped on the mound and was trying to catch myself from falling down," Weaver said, "and next thing you know there's a bullet coming at you. If it hit somewhere on my body, there would have been more pain issues involved. The left elbow is better than the right arm, that's for sure.
"I've never really experienced anything like this before. I didn't feel anything pop or crack. We'll give it a few days and see where it goes from there. It's pretty painful now. It feels like when you jam a thumb, but it's in the elbow."
Weaver went 20-5 last season despite missing three starts with back and shoulder issues. C.J. Wilson, scheduled to start Tuesday night, will inherits Weaver's role as No. 1 starter during his absence.
Garrett Richards, the Angels' promising right-hander, and veteran Jerome Williams are the leading candidates to fill Weaver's spot in the rotation.
After high expectations, the Angels opened the season 2-4 on a trip through Cincinnati and Texas, losing both series.
