I'm very serious with my attribution of this current ills of the Ballpark entirely to Cowboys fans.

There are WAY more drunk assholes out at the Temple on any given day now, though. I've witnessed more "incidents" out there in the past two seasons than I had any all of my previous seasons out at the ballpark combined.

It's not just that there are more folks out there, it's the kind of folks that are out there. They may be Dallas "sports" fans, but they're not baseball fans.

Calling them Cowboy fans isn't even accurate, though. Scumbags are scumbags, regardless of affiliation or fandom. DFW is full of douchebags, period. Winning is going to bring more of them out. Whether it be the Mavs, Stars, Cowboys, etc. And the same goes for every other professional sports team in America.

I've seen the same things happen at other MLB games in other cities. It's not exclusive to Texas. Sure, there may be more of them with the recent success. But it has exactly nothing to do with Cowboys fans. It's what happens when teams win. Just like tickets being harder to get, prices going up, etc. That is just how things go.
