Clearly he's got the hot bat tonight and they pitch to him anyway. Better odds at loading the bases and try working Murphy into a double play. The bottom of our lineup is not hitting very well.

The throw would've gotten past the shortstop and he might've been able to take third if the shortstop hadn't made a diving catch.
