I propose a new statistic that takes into account OBP minus outs on the bases (caught stealing or trying to take an extra base). Kinsler would probably be around .200 adjusted.

IKPF (inning killing pop fly) should be a stat, Kinsler would be .800 at that.

I liked Gentry but I like Martin a lot more. He stole 36 bases last year and hit 8 homeruns, while not being an every day player. He'll get bigger and stronger with MLB coaching and his defense has already improved greatly. Rios is a lock already and I'm sure we'll have a platoon in left for a while with Moreland, little Beltre, Choice and maybe even Rafael Ortega (he's already on the 40 man roster). Assuming of course we don't pick up someone in a trade soon. I'd love to see Matt Kemp out there.

Glad it's over with and he's here now, I'm sure this isn't the first time it's happened. Between Uegeth Urbina, Ogando and the Pedro Strop deal they've had some weird problems with human trafficking/kidnapping.

They lost speed, but gained IQ points. Kinsler just got stupid on the bases. It's like his head wasn't in the game at times.

Cruz apparently just turned down 5 years/$75 million form the Mariners. I don't know what they are smoking up there in Seattle, if it's anything like the Cano negotiations though Nellie is probably waiting for them to come back with a 6 year deal at $100 million.

That's a ton of cash for an injury prone 33 year old whose never had a 100 rbi season, and has below average defensive skills. Then again he's probably an upgrade over a 41 year old Raul Ibanez.

I hope he takes it, we'll get a draft pick and it'll take them out of the running for Choo.

We received the information for renewing our tickets for 2013. Prices went up to $20 per ticket from $17 (Lexus level). Parking passes went up to $12 from $10.

2014 the tickets went up a buck and parking is the same.
