This team went to hell in a hand basket fast. Rios ain't looked bad, but isn't the answer for the ailing offense. Cruz will help if we get to the playoffs. If they don't resign him next year, this team will be fukt again. He and Beltre at least form a decent 1-2 punch in the middle of the order. Manny Ramirez must've looked really awful to have been released from the minors. Surely he could have helped this team in some way, shape, or form.Comment

With Lewis and Harrison not coming back this year, they had to make some mid season pitching acquisitions. I think had that not been a necessity we could have focused more on trding for a bat or three.
On a lighter note maybe some strong showings against the astros will get the offense going, build some confidence and carry us into a wild card and some post season success
