I need to vent a little. I read the recap after the game and there comments from players about Darvish, like,"He made two mistakes and it cost him," and "strikeouts are nice but we need to win." Really? How about scoring more than two runs for the man? How about this line-up getting more than 6 hits? It's bullshit. They haven't given him consistent run support all season. He would have at least 15 wins with any kind of production from this team.
I feel better now.

So please get off your high horse acting like the man is incapable of winning games in the postseason. I bet if we didn't have him we would be lucky to make even a wildcard spot this year after all the pitchers that we have lost and the ones who have not even pitched a game for us this year.Los Angeles Rams 11-5

Originally posted by mustang_marcNot only that, but the guy who pitched against Darvish was hardly an ace. Although the Rangers made him look like one.
Also, just saw that Michael Young waived his no trade clause and has been sent to the LA Dodgers. That might not be a bad pickup for them, at least in the sense of veteran leadership and someone who has been to the World Series recently.

Yeah, the offense goes non-existent. Even when the other guy isn't necessarily their ace. The guy who pitched against Darvish was hardly an ace http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/bas...sct=gf_mlb-box). Although the Rangers made him look like one.
