I need to vent a little. I read the recap after the game and there comments from players about Darvish, like,"He made two mistakes and it cost him," and "strikeouts are nice but we need to win." Really? How about scoring more than two runs for the man? How about this line-up getting more than 6 hits? It's bullshit. They haven't given him consistent run support all season. He would have at least 15 wins with any kind of production from this team.

Get out of here with that garbage. Teams know he is a great pitcher and they will put their ace up against ours whenever possible, to give themselves the beat chance to win. So please get off your high horse acting like the man is incapable of winning games in the postseason. I bet if we didn't have him we would be lucky to make even a wildcard spot this year after all the pitchers that we have lost and the ones who have not even pitched a game for us this year.

Also, just saw that Michael Young waived his no trade clause and has been sent to the LA Dodgers. That might not be a bad pickup for them, at least in the sense of veteran leadership and someone who has been to the World Series recently.

I guess he can play 1st, but at 3rd he'd be a down-grade vs. Uribe with about the same batting numbers. Not sure what they will do with him.
