5 innings, 4 hits, 2 runs, and 4 strikeouts isn't horrible by any means. People were crying about Holland being in the rotation in '11 and '12, and now he's one of our best pitchers. I'm guessing you posted this right after the home run, but in all fairness to Ogando, Trout has a hot bat right now. He ripped a home run against Darvish a couple days ago.

Those are fair to decent numbers for a 5th starter. Could be a lot worse. But he almost never makes it through/past the 6th inning. So basically on a night he pitches, you better hope your bullpen is fresh because you're gonna have to use at least 3 relievers every time he pitches. It's a good way to wear your bullpen out. And that's magnified even more by the fact that Warsh Imo doesn't know how to handle a pitching staff.

I posted thay after the first inning. I went to bed after the 4th. He just seems to always have control issues. He is far from consistent

Although he was only kept in there for 5, you can't put all the blame on him when you have Warsh playing musical pitchers or when the relievers are having trouble and getting yanked, etc.
