Mavs killed it tonight...they shot 61% for the game and an incredible 16 of 25 from 3 land. Everything was falling. Arena looked half empty. Kinda surprising since it was opening night.

Dirk was excited on the bench...looks like he's jonesing to join the team. Can't wait til he's back.

Thank god Jason Kidd changed his mind and went to NY. It is so refreshing watching Collison taking it to the rim every chance he gets then Kidd standing around the perimeter and clanging 25 footers like last year.

Yea, I really like the additions to the team. Collison & Mayo are playing well, and the team seems to be syncing together quickly. Will be interesting once Dirk is back in the lineup, with our bench as well we have a solid team.

That was a great 4th Q! It unraveled quickly for Portland. OJ Mayo and Collison are looking great so far. Collison had 14 pts and 13 assists tonight.

Any interviews with Dirk, I have not heard how he is feeling about the team and thier start without him. (No mavs coverage up here in socialist Wisconsin) I would think he would be thrilled to see guys who can carry the load, are young, and athletic.

This Mavs team looks good now, and thats without Dirk. Mayo and Collison are ballin, and both have great chemistry that dates back from when Collison was in UCLA and Mayo was at USC. Both played summer league ball together. Also the bench has looked good. Carter has done a nice job as the 6th man off the bench.
