    Texans' Brian Cushing out for season with ACL tear

    Karma for the positive PED test 2 years ago? Maybe. Either way, the Texans defense just got worse.

        It's pretty simple. You lose a starter and your defense suffers. Rarely do you find a guy that can come in off the bench and fill the shoes of a linebacker to the same caliber of play. If I'm not mistaken Cushing is also the Texans leading tackler so far this year.

          Cushing wasn't all that special on that defense. Good player, but not a game changer.

          Like the other dude said, If JJ Watt is playing, no problems...

                        Not worried until Watts gets hurt. with the injury history of the Texans, it's just a matter of time. Cushing is one of my favorite players, just because he's fucking crazy. it'll be a bummer not seeing his antics on the field for the rest of the year. Somebody else will step up though.

                          While funny, Doughnut Wade has really turned that defense around. Very impressive. Too bad he didn't have the testicles to do what needed to be done in Dallas.
