    LMAO that's funny.

Henry man, most people are blaming Romo in this thread who Brent totally disagrees with. He blames the coaches. Who hired the head coach? Who sign Romo to a long contract which Romo was the best option for the cowboys at the time and as of right now he still is. But no matter what, whoever anyone blames it always come back to Jerry cause he is the GM of the team and the owner.

      • As far as I can tell. Romo didn't do anything wrong yesterday. I still don't get the "it's Romo's fault" argument?

Hell Garrett even said he told Romo to burn the clock to 4 seconds at the end of the game.

        • I don't put this game on Romo. There's a lot of reasons why Dallas lost that game. Dez Bryant dropped a catch that he should've had. Bailey missed a kick that would've won it. It was nice to see Dallas be effective running the ball. They need to do that more often, they are a better offense.

The reason is 2 fold. The masses are ignorant, and think Romo sucks, regardless of the facts. The ones that aren't ignorant (Matt, for instance) are having an emotional response. It's natural to need something to blame when shit goes wrong. That's fine. He's just placing blame on the wrong one.

Don't tell anyone else that, it's all Romo's fault! Facts be damned! Burn Romo! Romo must die!

It's not always his fault, but it seems like you're on the opposite end of the spectrum of those calling for his head and putting every aspect of the Cowboy's season, win or lose, on his shoulders. If you weren't taking it to the point where it seems like you're trying to pinpoint every little mistake on someone else on the team then it wouldn't seem like you were such a Romo nuthugger. The dude makes mistakes, they all do, it's okay to admit fault. Hell I think Rodgers is the best quarterback in the league, but I'm not a ball washer and think that he is faultless and blame every receiver on the team when a pass is not brought in. Some are the fault of the quarterback, some the receiver, and some are just well defensed.

I've never said he's perfect, and have no problem blaming him for shit when it's actually his fault. That's my entire point, or have you not been paying attention? They are blaming him for shit, that's not his fault. And yes, I will call them a dumbass every single time they do it. If they don't like it, they should try not to be a bunch of stupid asses. It's not even really about defending Romo. I call out stupidity when I see it. This is no different.

You also won't see me "blame every receiver on the team" when a pass isn't caught. Some of them are bad passes. Witten saved his ass on a 3rd or 4th down yesterday, where Romo threw a bad pass, and the ball was 5 yards behind Witten, but he still caught it. Some are defended well. But when a ball hits your hands or chest, and you don't catch it, and it results in a pick or pick 6, how in the ever loving fuck is that the fault of the QB? When stupid ass Dez runs the wrong route, 12 times in a game, and 3 of those result in a pick, how is that Romo's problem? Dez is incredibly talented. But he's got the intelligence of a gnat, and if you pay attention, does stupid shit (like run the wrong routes) all the fucking time.

Oh, I know... Lets trade away all our picks for the #1 pick this year. That will help. That will fix all the penalties. That will fix all the overpaying for players. That will fix all the poor coaching decisions. That will fix one of the worst offensive lines in the game. This isn't Madden. Instead of talking out of your ass, why don't you offer up what you think will help them win. Real, viable solutions.

It's easy to say "Romo wont ever win a SB." Bold prediction there, I hope you didn't overextend yourself there. He's got 3, maybe 4 years left. And the Cowboys have failed him in that they haven't given him a team good enough to win. But yep. His fault. All of it. I mean, he is all 53 on the roster.

I'll trade you Alex Smith for Romo straight up

I wouldn't gloat too much. That "better" team isn't that great. Consistently giving up 200 yard rushing games will bite their ass in the end.

FYI, they are giving up 100 more yards per game than they did last year.

                        • Well, delusional Jerry just checked in at the nuthouse.

Dallas Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones said based on what he saw from his team in a 31-29 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, he believes he has a team that can compete for a championship this season.

Skelator has lost his mind. We will have to string together 5-6 wins to even have a chance at the post reason. I really don't see that happening.
