Brent it's time to understand, the cowboys will never win a Super Bowl with Romo at the helm. It's time to start looking for a new young QB that can be coached into a champion. I've stood behind him year after year, but honestly no matter what happens around him, he's still the same serviceable QB, that isn't going to get this team to a Super Bowl. And I'm far from a bandwagoner as Brent thinks anyone who challenges Romo's abilities is. I still love the Cowboys, and I don't root for another pro team, expect the Texans, well because they are the other Texas team. I've been a Cowboys fan as long as I can remember. I hate the Steelers, loathe the Giants, think the Eagles fucking suck balls, and wish long term illness on the Redskins.

But I'm going to call it like I see it, coach after coach, adjustment after adjustment, the only thing that hasn't been adjusted and tweaked is Romo or Jerry. And Jerry isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

As for my comment about him looking better on paper than he really is, it means just that. His stats are good, but his mental side of the game is where he lacks. He can't get his shit together long enough to take the job as QB/leader seriously. Hell yesterday when they were waiting on the Bailey kick, when everyone on the team should have been paying attention and focused on a nailbiter of a situation. Romo was on the sidelines joking around and laughing with a receiver.

He just doesn't take the job seriously in my opinion. But again that's my opinion, and everyone else has their's. I'd like this team to win more games, make the playoffs, and eventually win some Super Bowls again.

I agree with bcoop. I don't know much about football, or any sports for that matter, but I can call a duck a duck. I haven't liked the way Romo plays the game since his first season. That said, I've been a Manning fan, Favre, Rodgers,Newton,Vick, etc fan. I like qb's that lead their gd teams and play with balls out mentaility. Montana, Aikman, and Elway had that mentailty too. As you said a few times, Romo doesn't.
