I guess that's why aggie has rented billboards around Austin?

I do realize we will be fortunate to win any of the 4 games that follow the L-Tech game next week given the fact we are looking to play LSU, Miss St., Auburn then Bama, that is a brutal schedule when you think about it. If we stand any chance of being top 25 it will be in the next 10 days, LOL. After that all bets are off.
Only two games I'm worried about are LSU and Bama. A busted up Arkansas team beat Auburn this week, and A&M ran over Arkansas. Miss St might be undefeated, but the only teams worthwhile that they've beat so far are a beat down Auburn and a piss poor Kentucky. We'll see next week how good that team is against Tennessee.

I'd be surprised if A&M doesn't end up in the top 25 this week. With "Johnny Football" running the offense I'm sure the Aggies can make things happen.

I don't see how having a billboard is relevant to the fact of whether or not they care, the schools are only 100 miles apart. That said, I'm sure you don't think there are any TAMU fans in Austin either, or vise versa.

GUYS!! AGGIE HAS A BILLBOARD IN OR AROUND AUSTIN!!! THAT MEANS THEY REALLY DO CARE ABOUT HOW WE'RE DOING!!1111!!!1!1!1!

Speaking of being ranked. Aggies are 22 in AP, and 21 in USA Today Polls.

            Whoop!

It just means they haven't shaken that inferiority complex. I'm betting UT doesn't have any signs in College Station...but, I digress.

LOL, it is not a complex, it is a recruiting strategy, the sign is in Pflugerville not Austin and it is not the only place we have signs. Texas A&M is the only major college in the state that is not a Big 12 member.

And it's the second biggest mistake they've ever made.

                    HAHAHA, yeah right

A&M Health Sciences Center is just a few miles north in Georgetown.

I was referring to them leaving the Big 12, genius.

That's what the HAHAHA was for. That was far from a mistake. SEC is a bigger, better conference, with more opportunities for the students/athletes as well as the school. The shared revenue from conference bowl appearances alone trumps anything the Big 12 could have offered in return.

We'll see in 2014 how Texas stands up against A&M after two years of recruiting and playing in the SEC.

Geographically, it's a bad decision. How many "away" games will you make? The students make? Players outside of Texas won't want any part of our state-owned cult. It's a "Texas" thing. The prez and AD got butt-hurt about playing second-fiddle to UT for 110 years, and pulled the trigger on a bad deal.
BTW, firing RC Slocum was the #1 worst decision.

Let's see this season, A&M plays 6 games at home, one in Dallas, and 5 on the road outside of the state of Texas, with one traveling game being in Shreveport which is a 4.5 hour trip.

A&M travles less than Texas, so I'm not sure I understand your comparison

I've also seen a sign in Waskom TX, Houston, and somewhere else but can't remember. I think they are placing them all over the place where theres heavy traffic. Austin, Houston, and San Antonio probably all have one somewhere.
