Does anyone have that article written recently about Romo and his stats? I think it was written on espn, talking about how his stats are so good despite his performance.

His stats are legendary, if we had won a SB or two he would be regarded as one of the best to ever play the game. Unfortunatly his individual stats dont mean shit if the team hasn't won anything yet. In Cowboy land he has most of the records os in the top three in most of the QB stats.
And no i don't have the ESPN article, I don't surf ESPN on my CPU it is full of bullshit and takes forever to load and all those annoying banner ads are the suck, reminds me of Canada, but worse.Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

KC Joyner explains why, with gaudy statistics and a changing of the guard at the elite QB level, Tony Romo is a top-5 NFL QB.
I've enjoyed reading the recent comments from the fans regarding Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. The comments are based on a column written by KC Joyner, an NFL Insider for ESPN, who says Romo is a top-5 quarterback.
I've found defending Romo against the onslaught of naysayers at my office is really enjoyable. I just find it too peculiar that Romo's stats are just so good, yet his performance is so poor. Are we really to believe that out of all the previous quarterbacks in history this one guy just happens to be an anomaly, or is it more likely that the team under him just isn't capable? Has anyone here ever considered that?
I'm just an extremely logical fact based guy, I always resort to numbers when I'm making a decision. And I just find dismissing romo as counter-intuitive to the numbers. Defending Romo on this board is like Defending Obama. You wont win.
I'm a huge fan of Romo, he is 2nd tier qb. Qb's are human, they make mistakes. The only reason people hate him is because he's a Cowboy but that it usually goes.
He's had his share of screw ups but he is not the main reason why the Cowboys haven't had any post season success.Originally posted by 03trubluGTYour opinion is what sucks.

His stats are off the charts, thats why its hard to hold him soley responsible for the team(s) lack of success."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

A pure pocket passer like Aikman, would have a short lived career playing with the 2004-2012 Cowboys teams. Hell look what happened to Drew while he was here with Parcells. I feel that the days of huge offensive lineman pass blocking are a thing of the past. There are very few teams still playing that type of offensive scheme, the defense has adapted.
To anwser your question, the problem doesn't lie with Romo, has he cost the team some games, yes, but not nearly as many as he has won us on his own.Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.
