    Stanford Goes Down

    To an unranked Washington team. There's no way in hell I would schedule a Thursday night game if I had a good team - seems like the upsets on Thursdays are beyond statistical chance.

    That is true. Thursdays usually favor the home team no matter the record of the teams. I use to love betting those Big East/MAC games a few years ago. Easy Money.

    It's something in the air on Thursdays that helps the home team... most likely drunk college kids who dont have class the next day.

    I wanted to take Stanford but didnt play at all.

    But it was Stanfords qbs first career road game, plus the fishy line.

        OR maybe it was the fact that Stanford really isn't that good and all the pollsters overreacted to them beating USC.

        Add in the fact that weird shit just happens up in the northwest and there you go, Standford gets beat.


        Maybe some more weird shit will happen and Washington St will beat Oregon. I wouldn't bet on that though

            I don't think that's what he is saying. But, the point about the pollsters overreacting is dead on. Stanford isn't great, and USC was way overranked to begin with.

              Yeah, I get that and agree with it. I guess I should have just clarified my thought when I posted this was thursday night craziness moreso than the true quality of Stanford. They're just a bunch of smart fucks anyways - go do math or something.
