Thoughts? Does the fine fit the crime or is big brother coddling the replacements?


When I first saw it I thought what the hell was he doing, but after thinking about it he just wanted an answer from someone on why the field goal was called the way it was. I know there have been a lot of games in the past where something like that has happened and I've seen many of those same games where the refs are talking to the coach(s) right after the clock expires to try and explain the call to them and let them know what exactly happened, etc.

I think it's a deserved fine, they made it clear to the coaches and owners that in week 3 any physical or verbal abuse to the refs would not be tolerated, and fines would be issued.

While the kick was close, it was still called a field goal, and time had expired, end of game. The Refs get off the field as fast as possible in any game.
