Just curious, i joined a new team and curious if anyone else on here plays anywhere in the metroplex?

I used to play until i tore my knee up. Then i moved into coaching to keep my skills harp in the offseason (spring ball). I have won 2 TUFL championships as an offensive coordinator the first with DFW Avengers and the second with the North Texas Longhorns. What team are you playing with?

I used to. DFW Metrostars in the NPSFL. I'm not sure if they are even still around.

Blew up my knee in 2005, had ACL surgery, came back in 2007, and screwed up my other knee. As much as I love playing, I decided it was more important that I be able to walk when I'm older.

Man fuck that. I played once with some Germans and Australians when I was stationed in Italy. Those guys are nuts. The oat surprising part was that they played with metal cleats.

I'd probably be more likely to play rugby than football now. I have a friend that plays in McKinney and one on the local law enforcement team. As much as I'd like to hit someone, I'm not to keen on being laid out, plus I think you run the risk of getting lit up by some glory whore stuck in his senior year.

I just joined the north Texas Fighters former TUFL team.we just joined the The XFL. its a new league but seems to be legit. First game is November 19 in cowboys stadium.
