  • WTF was going on yesterday?

I have the Ticket and I watched most of the games and there was some fucking head hunting going on, it reminded me of the old days. Players leaving the field on stretchers, on crutches, muthufuckers knocked out, peices of ears missing (). The NFL network was right, during the week they reported that the replacement refs were like substitute teachers in school, they can do whatever on the field.

You know they are fucking up when Bill Belicheat runs down a ref at the end of game and he was not pleased.

Ed got called on 1 of those. The refs want to nit pick little penalties and let the big penalties go

Ed Reed is not a dirty player and Branch actually lowered his head to avoid the hit that was coming. If he wouldn't have done that the hit would have been clean.

Call it blood lust but I'm enjoying it. I understand the league's liability in regards to player safety and head injuries but I was getting tired of the touch football being played last year.

One year everyone is talking about the pussification of the NFL and now that the gloves are off this season with replacement refs many of those same people are complaining about the amount of no-calls. Not calling you out on anything, just an overall observation versus last season.

I was actually enjoying it, my son and I were wearing out the TiVo, rewinding the hits, that just kept on coming all day. Even my wife had to get up and leave, she said it was getting to violent, haha!

I tend to agree with this, but there is a difference between expecting to get hit and not expecting to get hit. Romo and the other QB's would have ran around a lot more if they knew the gloves were off.

It was one thing when they were making those hits within the rules. Now, they're making a lot of hits that are outside the rules, but they aren't getting called on them consistently.

Can the NFLPA call a strike due to poor working conditions due to lack of quality refs?
