Pierre Thomas is in the same boat. He's not the #1 back on the depth chart, but some games they get him more involved than others. It's a crap shoot, especially since the Saints are a throw first ask questions later type of team.

True. I'm still on the fence if I should switch out Thomas, and put Tate back in or keep it like I have it.

No way. I could see it maybe against another D but Packers had the worst D in the NFL last year and they don't look much better this year. Marginally.

First few games don't mean much. Cowboys D was on top last year through the first 4 games with the crap players we had besides Lee.

Pack played SF and gave up 30. The only decent offensive team they've played so far. And have done decent against the bears and seahawks?

The stats are there but do you really think they went from worst to a top D?

The meaning of the first few games is exactly where we are in the season and that's exactly what we're talking about in this case. I'm looking at week 4 and where their defense is at right now as to whether or not I'm going to start a certain QB in my fantasy league. I never said I thought they had the number one defense in the league, far from it, but you said they were marginally better than last years team, but IMO to this point in the season they are holding their own in yards per game.

I like the RG3 pick over Brees. However, the Saints have the worst D and will probably be playing from behind. This a must win for them so Brees will be slinging the rock, but the pack D is good against the pass. Go with Brees if youre a gambling man, but IMO RG3 is the safer pick.

Notable pick ups for wk4: A.Hawkins WR Cincy, T.Choice RB Bills. I know Choice is a stretch, but the bills setup the pass with the run and Choice is all they got with Fred & CJ out.

I have Kevin Smith in and Leshore as my backup. Started Smith to give me a whooping 0.00 points. Dropped Kevin Smith on monday.

TE A.Gates vs KC or D.Pitta vs CLE? I don't get why everybody ranks Gates so high each week. He has 7 catches for 65 yards and no TD's so far. Yet, he's always ranked high before game day. My gut says Pitta.

Gates had a rib injury in week 1, and didn't play in week 2. Last week he was coming back from the injury and saw less play time than normal. He should be good to go for this week.
