    The official "bad call" thread

    First game of the season with interim refs. wonder how bad they'll screw it up.

    It won't be nearly as bad as people think it will be, and the regular officials will need to make a deal soon, especially as these replacements get better throughout some games.

      Lol. Did you watch any preseason football? It was fucking terrible.

      The head official for tonight's game? An activities director at Sawtooth Middle School. He's officiated a couple games in the fucking Frontier conference. Are you fucking kidding me?

                I only got to watch 2 of the broncos preseason games...But in those games I was paying special attention to the officiating and it wasn't just awful. A couple of no calls but I'd rather them call it that way than be flag happy. So no I haven't watched really any besides those.

                    So they missed the hold on Cruz, and the clipping that should have been a block in the back. That's all I've seen so far.

                          The missed holding call in the endzone, and a BS roughing the QB are the only two big misses I saw. Not too bad overall. The real refs usually miss one or two calls themselves.
