You gotta remember, T-Blow is McDaniels' pet project. Not Pat Bowlen's. I think McDaniels is the only cat in the NFL that thinks Tebow is worth anything at all.


Plus, Jackson's contract is up, and Webb always has been and always will be a nobody.

Maybe he is McDaniels project, but at least give him another year to see what happens. It is not like they have a whole lot of prospects at that position anyways. I will say I think his 1st round pick was a waste of a pick.

I like Tebow's spirit but I don't think he is the face of the franchise material. I'd say trade Tebow for some draft picks and fuck it trade Orton for a few more picks. Rebuild that defense and get a QB in the draft worth while.

Oh and just so we are clear. Both Tebow and Thomas wasted 1st round picks IMO.

He led his team to a NC game, why would he not be face of the franchise material? Tebow has leadership. He has fire. He has many of the qualities it takes to be the face of a franchise, and to lead a successful team.


The two things he doesn't have, is the most important, however. Skill to be a successful QB in the NFL (he would rather run making all his reads), and NFL level intelligence.

They didn't have an impact? Didn't Tebow start a few games and actually win one or two?

It is not always a guarantee a 1st round pick will make an impact in the first year, especially in the later part of the round.

For a Denver team already losing the final games of the season after winning the first 6 straight Josh McD needed to draft someone who was going to make a impact. That's just my opinion of course. How long do you really think Pat Bowlen was going to let Josh lose games?

Tebow played the final three games.

Thomas had more fumbles then he did touchdowns. Heck he only caught 22 passes. Tebow started more games then Thomas did as well.

Just wasteful picks and completely destroyed the Broncos with his stay. I'm not saying Thomas is a complete bust because he probably isn't a bust. I think I'm just upset Broncos drafted Thomas over Bryant.
