Felix is a badass, no need to come into camp in shape, thats what camp is for. Besides his down is third down, always has been. As long as he can pick up a 40 yards at a time or a TD on 3rd and long, i'll be happy.

I completely disagree. There is absolutely no excuse for coming to camp out of shape (if that's even the issue, all speculation at this point, for all we know, it could be muscle stiffness or something).

X2! It's part of their job. You'll hear them all say it is a year round job.

Much like Lamar Odom wasn't in shape after the lock out (granted there was a lock out) but he was not in his normal shape and it took a big toll on his playing and the team.

Hope he works hard these next few weeks. I too love him as a solid back.

It could mean quite a few things as you mentioned, but not being in shape isn't one of them. He passed this test yesterday and was on the practice field with the starters.
