But girl's soccer (my sis played from 5yoa-Juco) made the competition and violence in boy's soccer look like a walk in the park. Those girls were ruthless, and this is coming from someone that was pretty ruthless in his own right.

When I coached my girls in soccer, we had dads go after each other on two occassions. Both times I had to go before the North Texas Soccer Association for hearings, even though I was never directly involved. When I was a kid, our parents NEVER came onto the field for any reason at all, and we never saw altercations between parents.
                            I was an assistant coach of a soccer team over 10 years ago and we had dads go to start fights. My buddy and I ended up coaching the team because none of the parents wanted to. The parents tried to come after us if we pulled their kid out of the game. The parents didn't know the head coach's dad was the head of the north Texas soccer association, so we had him come watch the parents one game. After the game he told the parents if he gets any more complaints police officers would escort their kids to the games from the parking lots and the parents would be banned. Never had another issue, but I haven't coached since. Don't want to dick with it again.
