It's the offseason and this news is a week old, but it's the first I'd seen of it.

Having some consistency around here and a proven winner, not some first year coach - I think it'll help in luring potential free agents. Toward the end of the year, I kind of figured Carlisle was gone by some of the comments he made. Good move on the Mavs part.
