    I don't disagree with you at all, but with players unions, that's never going to happen. There has to be some kind of a 1st, 2nd, 3rd strike deal at the very least.

    Artest is a punk bitch, and always has been. Honestly, he should have been kicked out of the league when he attacked a fan several years ago.

        Article says it's his third suspension of 7 or more games. I'm sure there have been other suspensions for him, just with less time missed.

        I'm not saying there is a three strike policy. Obviously there isn't, or he'd be done. All I'm saying is with player union involvement, there won't ever be a first offense lifetime ban. I think certain situations absolutely call for one. I'm just saying there is no way the player union would ever allow that to happen.

          Espn said something to the effect that this is his 14th suspension. Not sure how accurate that is.

                If it happens on court then it is under their agreement. Outside of the court and it is subject to civilian law. Just as military is subject to court marshall if it happens while on base/active duty but if it happens in the streets, it goes to civilian court.
